JohannesBrahms,a German composer, is an important musician inwestern music history. He lived in the late Romantic Period, but he stuck toclassicism traditions both in German and Austrian and he was good at folktraditional composing technique; he composed lots of works excluding opera.His work was considered as western precious heritage in ninety century.Arguments about his style existed but his contributions to music was admittedby more and more people and he was regarded as a reformer as famous asJohann Sebastian Bach、Ludwig van Beethoven.Piano work, a special romanticism art style, had been Brahms’s favoritecomposing style and was progressed. Brahms’s piano work had manyfeatures: precise, simple and rigorous. These works not only showed thecomposer’s deep emotion and mature composing technique but alsoembodied his own composing style.The paper chooses Brahms’s work Op.76as a research object. To beginwith the discussion of Brahms’s life experience, era background;work styleand art features, the paper analyses Op.76’s many aspects: musical form;composing features; playing skills and teaching application so that pianoplayers and learners as well can have a better understanding of the music andplaying.
