Discussion Of Adult Women With Acne And The Onset Of Clinical Research Factors Shigemi Fang In Treatment

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Zi Shui Shu Gan Prescription in treating adult female acne with with stagnation of liver Qi and deficiency of kidney-YIN and its effect on testosterone(T),estradiol(E2),prolactin(PRL),luteinizing hormone (LH),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),progesterone(PGN);At the same time,to study possible factors affecting the occurrence of adult female acne.Methods:1) In the first part of the study,70adult female acne patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into Chinese medicine group and control group according to the random number table,35cases in each group.the Chinese medicine group used Zi Shui Shu Gan Prescription granules,twice a day;35cases for the control group took spironolactone three times a day;And to gave Metronidazole Cream for external use to both groups.On week2and week4, to observe the curative effect and to test the levels of the both groups’sex hormone before and after treatment. Result:2) In the part of etiological study, using the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) and the scale of life events which was made by the literature research and what the patients self-reported to administer questionnaire to70adult female acne patients and70healthy adult women.Results:1) Measurements of the basic sex hormone of adult female acne with stagnation of liver Qi and deficiency of kidney-YIN were within normal levels. At the end of treatment, the effective rate of the Chinese medicine group was84.4%, higher than the control group’s58.1%,the difference had statistical sense(P<0.05);The Chinese medicine group’s curative effect in improving symptoms was better than the control group’s,the difference had statistical sense(P<0.05).the both groups’ FSH,LH,E2,PRL,T,P and T/E2value did not change significantly before and after treatment(P>0.05);There was difference in LH between the Chinese medicine group and the control group (P<0.05),and no statistical difference differences in the other5sex hormones after treatment (P>0.05).2) Adult female acne was related to many factors, but mainly associated with emotional stress and lack of sleep.By the SAS and PSQI comparison,Adult female acne patients’scores were significantly higher than the heathy women’s,the differ-ences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusions:1) Measurements of the basic sex hormone of adult female acne with stagnation of liver Qi and deficiency of kidney-YIN were not abnormal.The mechanism of Zi Shui Shu Gan Prescription was not related to regulating sex hormone,but may be related to antimicrobial,immune regulation,regulating sleep and mood.2) Lack of sleep and emotional stress were the key factors in adult female acne.
