With the alcohol consumption increasing, the attack of alcoholism has been appeared toascend. Excessive ingestion of alcohol, especially strong drink, can not only bring aboutdamages to center neural system, digestive system, circular system, and so on, but also canendanger stabilization of family and society. Alcoholism has been a serious problem ofsanitation and society. Acai (acai) is a berry grown on the acai palm tree (Euterpe oleracea), which is native to tropical Central and South America and grows mainly in floodplains and swamps. In2013the Ministry of Health approved acai (acai) entering the country as a new source of food.A brief review of acai (Euterpe Oleraceae Mart.) in the scientific literature. In recent times, research on Acai fruit has centered on its potential antioxidant properties. In laboratory research, Acai has alsodisplayed anticancerand anti-inflammatory activity, possibly related to its antioxidant content.Proanthocyanidins have also been isolated from Acai extracts. Flavonoid-like compounds, including homoorientin, orientin, taxifolin deoxyhexose, isovitexin, and scoparin, have been identified. Protocatechuic acid and epicatechin (a polyphenol) have beenidentified as minor compounds. Acai has received much attention in recent years due to potential health benefits.Acai is a plant having medicine and food function in Amazon region with a great economical value and developing prospect.Alcoholic liver disease is a common clinical disease, caused by long-termalcohol abuse. Although modern medicine are recognizing and researching ALD deeply, the therapeutic tool islimited, it is short of drugs which is safe and effective. How to develop medicine and health products using plant resources has received much attention in recent years. The result of analysis is that the pathogenesis of ALD results from the mutual contention of qi,blood, phlegm and dampness. Fortifing the spleen and soothingliver, regulating qi and activating blood and resolving phlegm and dispelling dampness is the main treating method. We should reinforce the healthy qi in the advanced stage due to exuberance of pathogen with decline of the healthy qi. Blood-activating and stasis-resolving medicina, dampness-draining diuretic medicinal medicine.dampness-resolving and qi-moving medicinal are common treating. This study was designed to explore the protective effect of acai against alcohol liver injury and the mechanism.
