In order to curb the the AIDS growth, protect people’s health and reduce the medical staff career risk of exposure, the clinical study was carried out in patients with HIV infection in Sichuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods:Patients in Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in2012, which the result of the HIV antibody screening test in the Clinical Immunology Laboratory and the confirmed test carried by the Chengdu Center for Disease Control was positive were screened in accordance with current inclusion and exclusion criteria. Then the hospitalized patients with HIV/AIDS were analyzed retrospectively.Results:There were the60cases in Sichuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in2012,which the results of HIV antibody screening test were positive, and the10cases were excluded because their results of the comfirmed test were negative or suspicious positive, or their clinical information was incomplete. Thus, the50cases were enrolled in the study.These cases included43males,7females,or in other account there were8outpatients and42inpatients. The youngest was18years old, the oldest was86years old, the median age was38.5years old. There were31,809inpatients in the year2012in the hospital, the42patients with HIV/AIDS were detected, and the detection ratio was0.13%. The23departments were included in this study, and the17departments had more than one case with HIV/AIDS, accounting for65.4%. A total of25,060hospital patients were admitted to these departments, the42patients with HIV/AIDS were detected, the detection ratio was0.17%. The top five departments in the number of positive cases were respectively Anorectal(7cases), Dermatology(5cases), Urology (4cases), Emergency department(4cases), and Respiratory (3cases). The top five departments of the detection percentage were respectively Dermatology(0.44%), Urology (0.35%), Acupuncture (0.33%), Anorectal(0.21%), and Emergency department (0.20%).The mainly reason for doctor was skin rash, anal mass prolapse, perianal throat, cough and so on. Community-acquired pneumonia, Hemorrhoids, Herpes Zoster, Perianal abscess was common admission diagnosis. Red tongue, yellow greasy moss, a few slip veins was common, empirical was mostly. There was relativity between the TCM clinical stage and Western medicine clinical stage (rk=0.773, P=0.000). The common admission diagnosis of13patients with AIDS were repeated bacterial pneumonia, herpes zoster, recurrent diarrhea, fever. The45.2%of the detected patients was combined with other sexually transmitted diseases in the HIV/AIDS patients, syphilis was common. There were7kinds of WB tape type which were checked out, p55and p17had lower frequency. The wide range of glass-like changes and pneumonia was common in chest CT scan imaging.Conclusion:HIV/AIDS has become one of the common diseaes in Sichuan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The potential hazardous of occupational exposure to HIV/AIDS is revealing increasingly, but the medical staffs have not been taken enough attention for AIDS growth seriously. The knowledge and tecknique of AIDS prevention and control should be trained imminent, the historic opportunity to carry out the traditional Chinese medicine, or integrative medicine clinical research has arrived.
