In this paper, a set of far-card automatic fare collection system is studied, the system overcomes the shortcomings of the existing near-card fare collection system and artificial ticketing, making the charges more reasonable, reduce costs, facilitate the passengers.In this paper, the development of public transport fare collection system and radio frequency identification technology were introduced, and maked a detailed analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the current near-card fare collection system and artificial ticketing. On this basis, proposed a design idea of far-card automatic fare collection system. Completed hardware design mainly by useing the ARM chip STM32.RF chip nRF24LE1and other devices. Completed software design mainly by using C Programming Language, in the design of software to realize the automatic deductions mechanism. The system will buckle fee based on your position of on and off bus, so that passengers did not need to calculate the fare. The system was innovative to use long-range radio frequency technology on bus fare collection system. The system Set checked function, so that passengers timely understanding of deduction information.At the time of analysis and design the whole system, all aspects of system design are detail introduced, such as hardware circuits design, software design and the connection circuits between each module. Based on the analysis of system power consumption and RF transmission distance, to complete the whole testing, test result is ideal, and solves the problems of the existing toll collection system.
