Greening Of Technology High-rise Building Walls

With the development in economic and urbanization, pollution of the environment of our cities getting worse and worse. The administrators of the cities began to pay attention to enlarge both the size of green lands and ecology contribution of the lands like setting vertical planting constructions onto high-rise buildings. Some of the thought even came to real in some super high-rise buildings in some cities. However there are still a lot of limits in metope greening in super high-rise buildings and lack of discussions so that I wrote this paper in order to study and discuss one mode of vertical greening in super high-rise buildings and set a real project Dading Century Plaza2#Building Greening in Chengdu as the sample.(1) firstly I introduced the concepts of metope greening and its related things, as well as the function of the metope greening facilities and concluded some certain modes of metope greening. Definition of high-rise buildings on the role of green walls, summarizes several green walls mode. And then explained the meteorologic factors and some certain requirements constructors have to consider when setting metope greening projects. And also focused on the load-bearing structure, plant selection and other important elements of metope greening.(2)Based on the theoretical researches, I studied and applied and surveyed Dading Century Plaza2#Building Greening project in greening mode, planting facilities design, planting substrate, plants, automatic irrigation system, drainage system and final-period management.(3)With the completion of the motope greening project successfully it reached the goal and it’s also the highest one in China. The independent mode and technique which it based on for building the motope greening is now applying for patent.The project not only solved the technical problems about greening in super high-rise buildings but also made a move on discussing and trying in aesthetic which including combination of plants, combination of plants and walls or billboards or other landscape elements. After the project being completed successfully it will no doubt be a positive reference leading much more new thoughts of metope greenings in super high-rise buildings.
