With the advance of science and technology, construction technology, the pipepile foundation is applied more and more widely, has the strong regional characteristicof geotechnical engineering, different foundation forms are used in various areas. Inrecent years, static pressure pipe pile with no pollution, no noise, reliable in quality,and many other advantages, has won the acceptance of the general engineering andtechnical personnel, which become one of the main foundation forms used in themulti story buildings and high-rise buildings in Tong hua area. The application ofstatic pressure pile is used in short time, and which lack of suitable technicalspecification for design and construction in Jilin Tong hua area, meanwhile, theresearch on the basic theory of static pressure pipe pile lagged behind engineeringpractice.First of all, this article from the comparative analysis of the calculation formulaof vertical bearing capacity of single pile put forward by other parts, combined withthe geological characteristics of shallow bearing layer in Tong hua area, Fitting out aconversion formula suiting for application of a single pile vertical bearing capacityand the final pressure value in Tong hua area, and putting forward a calculationformula which is based on the pile strength as the characteristic values of verticalbearing capacity of single pile design basis. What’s more, further interpretation of thespecification of short pile refers to the design method of pile strength, and thecharacteristics of the static pressure pile in this region was found out.Secondly, on the basis of theoretical analysis, This paper studies the capacity andthe working properties of short PHC pipe pile in Tong hua, Jilin. The test data of PHCpipe pile is collected and is studied for over10engineering site in Jilin Tong hua. Forthe data of13critical short PHC pipe pile is presented to interpret it’s workingproperties. According to the experience of design and construction in Jilin Tong hua,the design method for short pipe pile is presented that the capacity of short pipe pile isdominated by pile shaft strength.Finally, two-dimensional and three-dimensional model of the six meters short pile is simulated by using the large finite element software ABAQUS, the resultturned out that the two-dimensional ratio curve is more close to the measured values,but the three-dimensional model is more realistic. the bottom and the side of the pilesoil properties and pile strength are changed respectively, relative analysis theinfluence of the soil layer to the pile block and the shaft axial force conversion. As aresult, analysis the influence law of the soil beside the short pile to the bearingcapacity, the pile strength influence on short pile settlement can be ignored, and thatthe soil of pile tip is the important constituent of short pile stress, but also influencethe action of lateral friction. What’s more, static load test measured curve is used as areference, two-dimensional models of5,6,7,8meters short pile is foundedrespectively, comparative analysis of the calculation for pile strength design methodand empirical formula according to08Standard values, found that the design methodof the pile strength can give full play to soil bearing capacity.
