With comparing information and considering, I will expound a new definitionof "privacy" by this article. And this definition can be used to direct a designer how to work. The conventional definition was inaccurate; exactly it wasn’t be developedwith the progress of the times. Therefore, it cannot be satisfied with the users. Space privacy is a humanism researching topic. It’s a bridge connecting space and human.It contains the contradictions between human and enviroment. All design should bemade to solve these contradictions. Privacy implies a potential expect the mass for designers, everyone expect their needs are met. Every user hope themselves could be respected when they practice in a certain activity. They have both "protection" and "communication" when they take part in republic.Space Design contain architecture design, landscape design and interior design. They have a common point, that is human being. They can’t be indivisible. They reflect the development of varied periods. The using result of a space could be reflectby light, color, voice and distance. People’s using feeling decide by these elements.
