Frame, as the base of the cargo automobile, is one of the key design parts in the integrated vehicle designation and plays a critical role in the vehicle development process.This text firstly introduces the frame characteristics, cargo automobile frame design and development status, especially the detailed description of the frame overall design and proposals selection. Secondly takes advantage of the analysis tool Hyper works to build up the3D model to make analysis of strength, stiffness and model. Weak points and unreasonable structure happened during the analysis process need to be optimized; simultaneously starts the lightweight design of the frame beam and frame cross member bearing surplus points. Then study the frame reliability test methods and set the test methodology to start the analysis of few problems happened during the bench test and the road test. As last re-start the structure improvement and design optimization according to the analyzed problems to obtain the frame which can meet the test requirements and customers usage conditions both.With the study of this text vehicle frame static characteristics and model parameter are learned in order to make a foundation of the basic theory and test basis for the frame further improvement and design optimization.
