With the development of economy and the acceleration of urbanization, moreand more high-rise buildings, super high-rise buildings, towering structure and bigspan structure is built, accordingly, high cost performance of high strength concreteapplication will be used more and more. Many of the properties of concrete have sizeeffect. And the size effect of strength is extensively researched at home and abroad,but the research progress is slow, and high strength concrete of size effect researchless. The main reason is experimental study very difficult. First, specimen size shouldbe large enough range of variation to reflect the size effect. Second, becauseconcrete performance test value is much more discrete, sufficient number of eachsize of specimens is needed to make the test results regularity obviously. This is verydifficult for big size specimen; even fully-graded concrete cannot be implemented.Based on this case, this paper will use numerical analysis to analysis size effect ofhigh strength concrete members.Based on the existing test data simulation, this paper is using Perform-3D tocalculate mechanical behavior of different size and strength of high strength concretecolumns and beams under monotonic loading. Analysis model uses the fiber model.Analysis of the size effect of high-strength concrete members’ strength.
