In this paper, fistly, we prepared angelica oil and eugenol microcapsules with gelatinand chitosan (wall materials) by coacervate method. The aim is that find out the effecton the property and process of microcapsules prepared with different cores. We drawconclusions by comparing the two kinds of microcapsules:(1) the comprehensiveperformance including yield, encapsulation efficiency, antioxidation rate andsustained-release performance of microcapsules were all favorable;(2) the process ofgelatin-chitosan angelica oil microcapsule can embed a lot of drug possessed someproperties.Secondly, we have investigated the release process in vivo by comparing themicrocapsules of “same core different shell” and “same shell different core”. Analysethe release process of five kinds of microcapsules (gelatin-chitosan angelica oilmicrocapsule, gelatin-chitosan eugenol microcapsule, chitosan-alginate eugenolmicrocapsule; chitosan-sodium carbonxymethyl cellulose eugenol microcapsule;chitosan-gum arabic eugenol microcapsule),we can draw conclusions:(1) Five kinds ofmicrocapsules all possessed sustained-release property;(2) the comprehensiveperformance of gelatin-chitosan microcapsule was best of all.
