The introduction of an appropriate signal amplification mechanism to further build and improve sensitivity of electrochemical biosensors has been the focus of attention. Based on the strategy of G-quadruplex DNAzyme signal amplification, we developed some highly sensitive electrochemical biosensors, and achieved sensitive detection of biological molecules.1. An improved G-quadruplex DNAzyme for dual-functional electrochemical biosensing of adenosines and hydrogen peroxide from cancer cellsWe provided a facile electrochemical switchable approach to detect ATP using ATP improved G-quadruplex DNAzyme with high catalytic activity. The reported approach provided all the superiorities of switchable electrochemical sensing, and also solved the key problem of unsatisfactory sensitivity, the limit is down to0.1nM. What is more, we can detect the H2O2releasing from the cancer cells.2. A novel electrochemical aptasensor for cells detection based on supersandwich G-quadruplex DNAzymeA strategy for detection of cancer cells was fabricated based on the aptamer-based competition strategy and supersandwich G-quadruplex DNAzyme amplification system. Firstly, transduced aptamer-cancer cell interaction into DNA-based signal amplification assay based on the aptamer-based competition strategy. And then take advantage of the catalytic of supersandwich G-quadruplex DNAzyme, we achieve sensitive detection of cancer cells.
