| As an important type of thermosetting resin, epoxy resin plays a crucial role in the national economy. But the waste water has become a bottleneck which seriously h-inders i ts development. Multiple million-ton epoxy resin plants will be built by Balin-g Petrochemica1during the "twelfth-five" period, making the study of wastewater tre-atment process imperat ive. By optimization of epoxy resin production technology in t-his paper, effluent discharge is reduced, salt concentration in the wastewater increase-d and approximately zero epichlorohyd rin content in wastewater realized. The useful organic compounds in the waste water (mainly t oluene and resin) are recycled after str-ipping of waster water and extrATtion of waste polyme rs; by three-effect evaporation process, inorganic salts in the waste water are recycled and sue cessfully applied in dia-phragm caustic soda production. The economic, environmental, and s ocial benefits ar-e integrated. |
