In2014, after the Spring Festival, Beijing appeared the rare the continuity of thehigh strength of haze weather, commanding position throughout the API index, andclose to the critical state of table. The whole city are concealed by the gray fog,people face masks were brought up, and even "Gas mask"。The municipal governmentand Beijing environmental protection bureau is also the focus of the news mediaattention every day. Immediately, Beijing’s air pollution problems should be solved.In this paper, it is set in Beijing’s air pollution problems. the API index of Beijingin2012is analyzed through the method of function data analysis. Firstly, this papercompares the API data of Beijing and other six cities around Beijing in2012by thedescriptive statistical analysis, the results show that annual air pollution in Beijing isgiven priority to with good, slightly polluted days has the tendency of growth,primary pollutant is pm10, air pollution levels in the majority with level2and above.Due to the influence of geographical environment and other factors, Tianjin, Taiyuan,Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou and Beijing have the same API trends, Chifeng is slightlybetter than Beijing. Secondly, with API index as the dependent variable,meteorological factors (Temperature, Humidity, Sunshine) as the independentvariables, using regression method, functional data regression analysis. Then comparethe causal relationship between air pollution and meteorological factors and mutualinfluence each other. The API is closely related to meteorological factors, theyinfluence and restricted each other. Finally, for the specific situation of air pollution inBeijing, propose appropriate treatment methods to solve the problem of air pollutionin Beijing, from reducing coal emissions, controlling automobile exhaust,strengthening management to comprehensive management of joint prevention andcontrol and other aspects.
