Select large sewage treatment plants around the main urban area of Chongqing anddrainage waters as a feature area to study algal succession rules. There are twowastewater treatment plants,Tang Jiatuo and Ji Guanshi in the study area. They arelocated downstream of the main city of the Yangtze River. The distance between centerlines of the two outfall is838m. The treated sewage is in the same area and the nitrogenand phosphorus is high in the area. The area is in the fluctuating backwater of TongLuoxia Tang Jiatuo, water flow rate at a slower speed and contaminants stay longer. Ifthe conditions is appropriate, it most likely outbreaks "bloom". This article choose thearea setting section and the waters sampling points, collecting water samples for on-sitemeasurement and laboratory measurement.Based on the monitoring results of water quality, the use of single-factor evaluation,comprehensive nutritional status indicators, phytoplankton diversity index analysis toevaluate the water status. Results indicates that: during the in2011and the November in2012, all section of water category for Ⅱ~IV (only by main pollutants judgment). Itcan said that the water category is basically can meet Ⅲ class waters features. Allsection of integrated nutrition state index is27.14~61.41. The rich nutrition of State ispoverty nutrition~the degrees rich nutrition. All section of Simpson index is0.18~0.66.The water State is light pollution or no pollution~moderate pollution.In addition, both time and space analysis of the community structure of the algae inthe waters, algal cell density, and dominant algae species in different climatic andhydrological conditions of changing conditions and thus had some of the algae in thewaters of succession rules. Results in dictates that: during the study there are8phylum76genera and157species Algae. Cyanophyta9genera and13species, accounted foralgae total species number of8.28%; Chrysophyta2genera and3species, accounted foralgae total species number of1.91%; Xanthophyta3genera and3species, accounted foralgae total species number of1.91%; Bacillariophyta25genera and82species,accounted for algae total species number of52.23%; Cryptophyta2genera and3species, accounted for algae total species number of1.91%; Dinophyta3genera and5species, accounted for algae total species number of3.18%; Euglenophyta4genera and7species, accounted for algae total species number of4.46%; Chlorophyta28generaand41species, accounting for26.11%of the total number of species of algae. The studyof algae in the waters of the community structure is much complex and the species is rich. But at the same time, the species is not Uniform distribution. With the time and theheight of water changing, the community structure in the area is changing frombacillariophyta in the river to Chlorophyta in the lakes. Therefore, it deserves to takemeasures for green algae "blooms" crisis. During the study the changes in densityduring range from6.09x104cell/L to27.34x104cell/L. Considerations from theperspective of algal biomass, the water can meets the functional requirements ofdrinking water standards in this study.
