| Domex700MC is one kind of micro-alloyed high-strength structural steel. It has extensive application prospect in structural parts of radar, for its high-strength, sufficient toughness, good forming properties and weldability.The purpose of this paper was to study the technological characteristics of Domex700MC by processing experiments. Firstly, two welding experiments, manual metal arc welding and gas shielded arc welding were carried out. The optimum welding parameters of weldable Domex700MC was recommended by investigating the weldability, welded-joint microstructure, strength properties of welded Domex700MC. And the annealing temperature and soaking time was also recommended by heat treatment experiments. Then, cutting experiments water cutting, milling, planning, drilling and so on were carried out to investigate the machinability of Domex700MC and obtain the reasonable processing parameters. Finally, the bending technological-characteristics were examined based on a series of bending tests. The bending parameters for metal plates with different thickness were recommended. And processing experience that could be called upon was introduced.This study explored the machining, bending, heat treatment and welding properties of Domex700MC. Appropriate technology specifications for Domex700MC application in radar were established. All these lay a foundation for popularization and application of Domex700MC in radar. |
