With the large number of application of aluminum alloy in every field, people put forwardthe requirement of high performance, multi-function, low cost, high reliability of the aluminumalloy material. Simply rely on the improvement of production technology, improve equipmentperformance is not enough, still can not meet the needs of modern production, life, especially theneeds of the aerospace industry.7xxx series aluminum alloy ultra high strength aluminum alloy,used in industry, especially the application of the plane is very important. At present,7XXX seriesaluminum alloy in the industrial production in general at the expense of strength for the cost toreduce the stress corrosion (SCC) sensitivity, achieve7xxxseries aluminum alloy with highstrength, high toughness and low sensitivity of SCC will become the main direction of futuredevelopment.On the basis of the7055aluminum alloy as the research object, adding RE to the alloy toimprove its performance. For homogenizing annealing of7055aluminum alloy, formulate thehomogenization process better. Aging of aluminum alloy with addition of RE, analysis of theeffects of aging temperature and aging time of RE-7055aluminum alloy. Using DES and XRDanalysis, the effects of the added amount of RE element on the microstructure and properties of7055aluminium alloy, effect analysis of RE aluminum alloy in aging.The study found, alloy with three level of homogenization (250。Cx4H+410。Cx4H+470°Cx3Oh) after processing, uniform composition, microstructure segregation decreasedsignificantly after solid solution and aging treatment, the properties of the alloy have beenimproved. Effect of aging treatment is the main process of material properties, RRA was able tokeep the strength of the alloy at the same time, improve the stress corrosion resistance. Theaddition of RE element, can refine grains, purifying melt organization, alloy elements also and in7055aluminum alloy to produce chemical combination, strengthening the matrix. Adding0.6%RE to a high degree, alloy grain refinement, alloy performance is improved after aging.
