With the development of the society, the proportion of wet smelting in the whole smelting industry is as high as90%. In the century of21st.energy conservation and emissions reduction is particularly important for each of the factories to improve their efficiency.Electrolysis process is the the main power consumption process of the wet smelting.Reduce electrolytic energy consumption can reduce the cost of the whole process of smelting, protect the environment, lead-based binary alloy is mainly used anode plate in modern wet smelting industrial. Reduce the electrode potential of lead alloy material can effectively reduce electrolytic energy consumption.There is a certain relationship between metal electrode potential and the fermi level. With the increase of fermi energy, metal electrode potential is gradually reduced, thus reduce the electrolytic energy consumption.This article from the practical problems existing in the modern wet smelting industry,Using the Materials Studio software (MS),Castep for platform,by establishing the model of the crystal calculation and optimization of electrolytic zinc anode electrochemical performance of alloy materials,In theory, we get the electrode potential of the lowest of alloy elements and content,Alloy material of electrode potential can be determined through experiments,Verify the theoretical results,We can get the unity of theory and experiment of low electrode potential anode plate,Make new contribution for the electrolytic production industry’s energy conservation and environmental protection.Crystal models of the three alloys,Silver-lead, tin-lead, antimony-lead,Optimization and calculation the models, We get the result is as follows:fermi level of three kinds of alloy are rising with the addition of alloy elements,the highest fermi level of lead antimony alloy,and the more the alloy elements are addited, the higher is the fermi energy lever, the highest fermi level of lead antimony alloy, means of lead antimony alloy electrode potential is minimum,the energy consumption in the process of electrolysis in the lowest, followed by lead-tin alloy,the lowest for lead silver alloy. In the end,through experimental test of alloy materials scanning volt-ampere curve and cycle volt-ampere curve at last. According to the results,the electrode potential of three kinds alloy is gradually reduced with the addition of alloy elements, and the more the alloy elements are addited, the lower is the electrode potential, The electrode potential of lead antimony alloy is the lowest,followed by lead tin alloy,the highest is lead silver alloy.
