Information Management System Based On Piles GIS Visualization

In this paper, GIS technology has been studied for visual bore pile information management system development, all the bore pile construction information or data can be managed, updated, supplied and displayed in a database called Construction Information Database. Construction Information Database has been designed and developed, construction information can be stored in two different ways in the database: fully digitized and stored in a byte stream in the form of a whole file storage; the data storage structure of enterprise to server, project to database, information to data table have also been put forward. GIS technology is used for pile construction information’s visualization. Vector data is used to draw point distribution of the pile, different display correspond to different construction progress. The main three-dimensional data model like surface model, physical model in GIS were discussed, the surface model based on multi-DEM is selected to express the three-dimensional; DEM of soil layer surfaces is built by TIN which create by points with elevation information. On the basis of visualization requirements, using C#and ArcEngine to realize two-dimensional construction progress and three-dimensional foundation information visualization.On basis of the needs of pile construction management and requirements of foundation construction company, the Functional requirements, System architecture and Operating procedures have been discussed and selected. The functions of Visual pile construction information management system including:construction information management; quality information management and bulk data importing; pile construction project database management; the data reporting function; construction file management function; Aid-functions and etc. Visual pile construction information management system based on GIS provide a kind of advanced means for pile construction management, and has vital significance as the basis of analysis and decision making in the construction management.
