Researching block is located in the transition zone on Ordos basin uplift and YiShan slope, which appears monoclinic structure, high in the east and low in the west. Mountains of shanxi formation of23interval with complicated pore structure and strong reservoir heterogeneity are typical tight sandstone reservoir of low porosity and low permeability. Gas-water relationship is complicated and gas-water identification difficult in such reservoirs featuring low porosity, low permeability, low pressure, low abundance.Based on the research on reservoir geological characteristics and relationships of the four characters of reservoir, this paper perfects the study of gas-water identification method. Characteristics of formation water are identified from qualitative and quantitative perspectives, and further analysis of factors controlling formation water distribution is conducted.First, based on the previous researches on regional accμmulation, this paper analyzes the reservoir lithology, petrophyscal property, and rock composition and structure of the target strata using the related data as core analysis, thin slice data, scanning electron scope, cathodolμminescence. X-ray diffraction, and pressure mercury data. Emphatically micro-pore structure of the reservoir is discussed and classified based on the mercury injection data.Secondly, water analysis data is studied using geochemical methods and the type of water is determined according to the coefficient of water chemistry characteristics. Factors causing relatively low resistance in the reservoir are revealed. Based on the core calibration logging, researches are carried out on relationships of the four characters of reservoir. Gas-water layer is qualitatively identified by crossplot method, porosity overlapping method, gas logging identification method and array induction-lateral joint identification method, and logging parameter model with such factors as the shale content, porosity, permeability, water saturation and irreducible water saturation is established.Finally, based on the type of formation water, a gas-water distribution laws and control factors are analyzed. Factors controlling the gas and water distribution such as the heterogeneity of reservoir, hydrocarbon generation way and strength and micro structure are discussed. The plane distribution of gas water is determined, providing a reliable basis for later development.
