From the "ecological restoration" and "ecological restoration" advanced idea, we put forward the theory of ecological prevention of seawater intrusion, should be the future direction of seawater intrusion prevention practice, needs further perfect theory and technical reserve engineering work.This paper describes the control of seawater intrusion prevention theory under the guidance of ecological, dynamic balance will be established between freshwater and seawater as the core task, through the protection of ecological environment of the coast and recovery, the seawater intrusion prevention function, eventually forcing the seawater intrusion to stop land deep development, and gradually subsided. The implementation of the above measures so that the seawater intrusion area significantly reduced, effectively improve the Dagu water ecological environment of the river estuary area, and has become an important source of water supply for the city.This paper analysis the typical case, put forward the guiding ideology of the seawater intrusion area of groundwater protection:to actively implement the scientific outlook on development and the new period to water policy, water resources management "three red lines", in order to realize the control of seawater intrusion and groundwater sustainable use as the goal, to reasonable regulation and control of groundwater exploitation and groundwater level as the focus in accordance with the "advance, control, scheduling, effective supply, strict management" ideas, planning the regional economic and social development and the water scale, pay attention to the coordination between groundwater exploitation and economic development, environmental protection, take the closure of recharge, water ecological restoration, instead of comprehensive control measures of water construction, effectively curb over-exploitation of groundwater and seawater intrusion, implementation of groundwater balance, the restoration and improvement of water environment.The use of seawater intrusion prevention and control work of the survey and evaluation of groundwater, seawater intrusion protection goals, joint operation of multiple sources, seawater intrusion prevention engineering key technology are introduced. Among them, the seawater intrusion prevention engineering mainly from the formation mechanism of seawater intrusion into consideration, can take the seawater intrusion barrier engineering, groundwater recharge engineering, engineering, alternative water sources well sealing project four big measures, comparison and analysis of the role and characteristics of all kinds of Engineering measures.
