| Group of migrant workers is a special production in China’s economic and social transition period. Its appearance provides a lot of labors for urban industrialization and China’s modernization, but at the same time the problems it brings also attract attention from all aspects. More and more people are now discussing the topics of migrant workers, in which the income of migrant workers is particularly strong. In academia, many scholars had depth studies on the impact factors of the wages of migrant workers, and came to a meaningful conclusion. Through a literature review and comb of existing researches, we can generalize and sum up the macro-Institution-alism, micro human capital and social capital these three theoretical perspectives, and to some extent, these three theoretical perspectives had a good interpretation of the impact factors of the income level of the migrant workers. But existing researches had a study from the two paths of the macro and micro separately, not combining the macro-institutionalism with the micro human capital and social capital. Further more, they explained the problem of migrant workers income more from static horizontal angles, neglecting the intermediate-level family background to longitudinally analyze the factors impacting on the income of migrant workers.Based on the existing researches, this paper advances a total assumption about institutional isolation, three basic assumptions and eighteen sub-hypotheses. In order to make up for the two shortcomings of the existing researches, this paper will use the group comparison to analyze the migrant workers, the original city residents and the "rural-to-not rural" crowd, in order to illustrate the function of the household registration institution on the income of migrant workers. On the level of the theory and method, this research is conducted mainly from three aspects of the institutionalism, human capital and social capital, using the method of questionnaire to collect relevant data and information and establishing models through the analysis of the data. Based on the assumptions, in addition to the traditional human capital, social capital factors, family background factors are also included in the analysis of models. Through the analysis of the results of the regression model that is built by the three factors above, we will verify the correctness of the proposed assumptions.Overall, the full text is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction. It mainly explains the research background and problem, the research significance and methods that this research adopts. The second part is the review of the related research literature existing. Literature review is mainly from three perspectives of macro institutionalism, micro human cap-ital and social capital. Furthermore, the research points out the advantages and disadv-antages of the existing literature, and based them, the research advances a total assumption, three basic assumptions and eighteen sub-hypotheses.The third part is the source of data and the description of the sample. First, it introduces the method of getting data and other introductions, and then makes an overall description and summarization of the obtained sample. The fourth part is about the explanation and definition of the variables in the sample, including questionnaire coding of the variables and the virtual process of non-continuous variables, and then it forms some unobservable variables through the factor analysis. The fifth part is the model selection, analysis and the interpretation of the results. The first is to introduce the existence of the total assumption, then according to the basic assumptions, it constructs three models and a comprehensive model, and at last it verifies the correctness of the hypothesis through the analysis and interpretation of the model results. The sixth part is the conclusion and the problems needed to be further studied. |
