Ideological and political education has already existed a long time in human society, and ideological and political education does not die out as long as there exists a nation. With the accelerated process of globalization, all countries are aware that only actively integrate into the world to have the opportunity of development. Stuffiness and padlock is no way out. Especially in the ideological field of Ideological and political education. It is necessary to go out of the country and learn from other countries if Ideological and political education continue to progress and development, even if learn from countries with different social system, and we can also acquire study and use for reference through comparing. Conform to the trend of the times, comparison of Ideological and political education has become a subject. The underway comparative study of Ideological and political education among the different countries, especially with different culture, backgrounds and social system, It is a very important premise to choose the scientific world outlook and methodology.This article is under the guidance of Marxism, and adheres to take the standpoint and principles of dialectical materialism and historical materialism. This article systematically combs the Chinese and German ideological and political education, and the special comparative study is done between them. Study the useful experience of Ideological and political education in Germany, and put on some enlightenment for our ideological and political education. In the first part, this paper analyzes the current situation of Ideological and political education in China and Germany, and briefly introduces some capitalist countries for different appellation of Ideological and political education; in the second part, it analyzes the similarities and differences of the ideological and political education from the aspects of status and role of Ideological and political education in China and Germany, the training objectives, contents and approaches; in the third part, according to the comparative research on Ideological and political education results, and combines with China’s ideological and political education and China social development reality, putting forward some enlightenment and reference significance.
