Research On The Function Problems Of Government Portal Site From The Citizen Participation Perspective

Citizen participation is the basic approach to bring about civic right, which could effectively avoid the misuse of public power; which could make the formulation of public policy more scientific, having great significance to achieve social democracy and to promote social harmony. Citizen participation possesses many different forms, with the rapid development of network information technology, government portal site emerges as the times require, providing citizen participation with a novel and authoritative platform. Taking Guangxi Yulin’s and Wuzhou’s portals for instances compares with these, both here and broad, outstanding portals, summing up experiences, pointing out these commonly existing problems of our government portal sites about citizen participation.According to what needs to be done to raise the portal quality of service;how to inspire citizens to participate effectively which could make full use of the portals offers suggestions.
