In the background of global economic integration, with the continuous deepening ofreform and opening up, China’s economy has achieved rapid development. But at the sametime, high-speed economic development and open society has brought more social securityissues. In particular, China is still in a critical period of transition to a modernization, frequentpublic security incidents will become a great social safety hazard. As a result, public safetyhas become a major issue facing our country, we need to conduct in-depth research andexploration.On the basis of existing research results, this article integrats literature research,summarized the law, comparative method and other methods to analysis issues related to themanagement of public safety. First expounded public security management researchbackground, significance, domestic and foreign research summary, as well as introducing theconcept of public security management, content and operation mechanism to explain thetheoretical basis from multi-level and multi-angle, paving the way for later analysis. Thenanalyses the existing problems in China’s current public safety management profoundly,introduces success stories at home and abroad in the management of public safety, on thebasis of the analysis of contrast, summed up its implications for China. Finally, for our currentsituation, put forward several recommendations, such as strengthening the construction of thelegal system of the public security management, improving the management of public safetyinstitutional settings, accelerating the establishment of a combination of the overallmanagement of the day-to-day management and emergency treatment, building diversifiedpublic safety management innovation mechanism and so on. Designed to reduce public safetyincidents in China, to ensure the smooth progress of people’s lives, production, and build amore harmonious and happy society.
