"Robbery" Crime Control Ability Study

With the economic and social development, China is undergoing profound changesopening to the outside world in all dimension and facing new situation and problems.Criminal case is the best exemplification of these problems. In particular, such cases astheft, robbery with their high rate and great damage to the society have become the majorfactor influencing public sense of security and satisfaction and happiness index.The public security cases in one municipality in the south of Hunan province, facingwith the course of theft and robbery management, have the same characters as that of therest of the country. The existing cases show us that the municipality and the public havemade their endeavor to maintain stable social security as well as the security of people’slife and property and vigorously contribute to the harmony and prosperity of our societythrough the employment of the traditional and the new mode of protection means,combination the protection by people, technology and materials, and the proper integrationof fighting against and protection from criminal cases.However, under the new circumstance, there are some faults and shortcomings in themanagement of such criminal cases. From the perspective how to strengthen and innovatethe means of social management to enhance the ability of theft and robbery management, iput forward some new thoughts and measures through analyzing the existing problems,closely examining the root causes of the problems in a scientific manner, considering themunicipality condition, standing on the point of the government management, taking thepublic’s needs into consideration, closely combining the implementation and practice ofthe existing work.I did this paper with research throughout the whole process, while the specificmeasures require the examination and consideration of the decision-makers as well as thetest of the practice.
