With the further reform and the development of China’s market economy, well-known brands have certain advantages in market competition. However, some unscrupulous operators in order to seek personal gain, they palming off the peculiar name, package and decoration of well-known brand. The consequences of these behavior is very bad to market economy, well-known commodity operators and consumers. Based on this, strengthen the legal protection of well-known goods is accord with the demand of present market economy.This article altogether is divided into four parts:the first chapter is about the overview of well-known goods, describe and discuss the concept, characteristics and standards of well-known goods and the fundamental elements of recognition; In the second chapter is the basic theory about the rights of well-known goods. This chapter discuss the power base from two aspects, the peculiar property right and intellectual property rights of well-known goods, and expounds the value of the protection of the well-known goods; The third chapter discusses the protection scope of well-known goods. This paper argues for the protection of the well-known goods should appropriate expand to a recognition of other marks. In this chapter also detailed discusses the peculiar about related concept; The fourth chapter explores the deficiency and perfection of legal protection system of our country well-known goods. At the same time of put forward deficiency author thought that we should expand the scope of protection of well-known commodities and some suggestion about adopt the legislative mode of general terms and specific terms.Based on the research of above contents, we know that the legal protection of well-known goods, not only to maintain the legitimate rights and interests of operators and will also be able to coordinate the conflict of intellectual property rights, so as to build a fair and orderly competition environment.
