Reseacrh On The Military-industrial Complex And American’s Policy Of Korea(1948-1960)

The study of the Military-Industrial Complex, is one of the hot topics of the currentresearch of American History. In this thesis, on the basis views of academic predecessorsand personal research，I tend to draw the following definition of "the Military-IndustrialComplex ". It is a loose Interest Coalition of the United States, which is based on itsdefense and security policy. And is a historical phenomenon of the United Statesdevelopment. It relies on the Comprehensive strength of the United States, and drawsupport from the national strategy (especially on its National Security Strategy).what’smore, in turn it gives an interactive impact of the two aspect. Its membership based ondefense industry and national security policy. Its main part is: Defense-related industrialand commercial interests group; Military institutions of the executive branch; CongressMembers; Medias which have a close relationship of national defense and Grassroots.This thesis is based on the Military-Industrial Complex perspective, from global tolocal. This thesis is divided into four parts.In the first part, retracing the history of theMilitary-Industrial Complex. In the second part, describing and analyzing theMilitary-Industrial Complex and American’s post-war policy of Korea(1948--1960). Inthe third part, review and analysis the Military-Industrial Complex and American’spost-war policy of Korea(1948--1960).Part four, conclusion. Among this four part,thesecond part is the main subject，mainly talk about the Military-Industrial Complex andAmerican’s post-war policy of Korea(1948--1960).Discuss the role played by theMilitary-Industrial Complex and its influence.
