A severe situation is faced in the basic rights and interests of health security, guardianship of the person, receiving education, developing and so on of the children left in rural areas.It is determined by the existing dual system that the labor force and their relatives from rural areas can not enjoy equal treatment with the urban residents. In response to this phenomenon, the city has taken a series of measures to protect the interests of children left in rural areas, and have achieved very good results. By increasing financial input and development of local economic, the city has attracted out labor returned home; at the same time, it has taken series coherence measures for rear children interest protection, providing policy and legal service system. But there are some fundamental issue has not been resolved, such as dual census register system, which determines the work of protecting the rights and interests of children left in rural areas.It will take some time to become perfect.Children are the future of our motherland, and protecting the rights and interests of left-behind children in rural areas is of great significance.
