Logic of interrogative as the important branch of applied logic, the main mission of it isresearching on all the logical problems towards inquiry and answer through logical symbol.F.S.Cohen is the first scholar, who uses the modern logic tool research logic of interrogative.His research provides important reference of how to research the problems of practicedepartments through logical symbol. Then many scholars apply the logic of interrogative intomany practice departments, such as teaching and court. In fact, the use of logic ofinterrogative in investigation is very seldom. Interrogation is the key link of investigation,which achieves its aim through the linguistically cross between interrogators and suspects,whose characteristic is expressing the query by questioning and answering. The thesis applythe logic of interrogative in the process of questioning and answering, then form the center ofthis thesis－the logic of interrogative in interrogation, and make effort to analyze thelogical symbol of inquiry and answer in interrogation to form a chain of logicalreasoning,and then put forward several methods on constructing interrogation.This paper divides into four parts.The first part: the basically theory of problem. It involves the cause of the problem, thesolving type of problem. Then the author introduces the problem from its original meaning,some standpoints of famous scholars towards problem, and other theories about the meaningof problem, such as straitened circumstance theory, disparity theory. Based on this, the authortries to elaborate a new point about “query” from the aspects of biology, psychology,philosophy and logic, meantime the author wants to introduce the classification of inquirysentence.The second part: theoretically discussed logic of interrogative. Firstly it involves thedefinition of logic of interrogative and the development of logic of interrogative. What’s more,the author focuses on the important point of logic of interrogative—presupposition, and howto use the presupposition of ask-answer scope. Then the author analyzes the structural form ofinquiry and the logical characteristics of inquiry.The third part: the use of logic of interrogative in investigation. Firstly the authordiscusses the definition and classification of interrogation. Then the author uses the logicalsymbols shows the use of presupposition in different type inquiries. And the author demonstrates the presupposition view’s influence on the logical interrelation of different typeinquiries, such as the logical interrelation between inquire and inquire, or the interrelationbetween answer and answer. The logical interrelation of different types inquiries will supporta base for the successive reasoning in the interrogation. At last the author introduces the logicof interrogative in the arrangement of inquiry sentences of lie test to make clear the principleof inquiry.The fourth part: how to construct inquiry sentence in investigating interrogation. Basedon the analysis of preamble, firstly the author wants to put forward the methods ofconstructing inquiry sentence from the aspect of presupposition of ask-answer scope, whichaims to propose more reasonable inquiry sentences in interrogation and lie test. What’s more,the author analyzes the characteristics of different stage of interrogation to put forward themethods of constructing inquiry sentences to provide a reference of investigatinginterrogation.
