Study On Relationship Between Citizen Supervision Consciousness In Root Public Servant Selection And Public Trust Of Selecting And Appointing Cadres

Choosing root public servant is a very important political activity in China. Itinfluences all aspects of the work of the government organs, the efficiency and thepeople daily life. This study focuses on the process and conducts researches in thisprocess of citizen consciousness of supervision and how thus affected the credibility ofcadres.The study puts forward the theoretical concept on the basis of previous studies, andaccording to the theory of ordinary citizens as the research object. Using literatureanalysis method, interview method, structured questionnaire method to evaluate475key university undergraduates, graduate students to conduct an empirical study.The results are as follows:(1) The citizen consciousness of supervision in the course of human developmentplays a very important role in the socialist political and economic construction in China.From senior psychological viewpoint, citizen consciousness of supervision includes6dimensions: firm, justice legitimacy, altruism, defensive, mood and clear.(2) The citizen supervision consciousness questionnaire has been developed in thisstudy through open-question questionnaire test, the initial test, exploring factor analysisand confirming factor analysis, reliability and validity tests. With good reliability andvalidity, it can provide a research tool for future research.(3) University students of our country has a strong citizen supervisionconsciousness in root public servants selection process. Legitimacy, altruism,defensiveness of citizen supervision consciousness are strong. But they are morepassive in this process, and very certain to do supervision. At the same time they don’tknow how to supervise very clearly.(4) Different demography variables have different interaction in dimensions ofcitizen consciousness. Not as a student cadre men and women with altruistic citizenconsciousness is more of the same. Educational background variables have significantdifferences in non party members within the group. Students scored significantly higherthan the group of postgraduate. There is no such difference between the group of Partymember. Non party members students has emotional Chengdu to graduate groupsignificantly higher than.(5) The citizen supervision consciousness in root public servant selection process has moderate correlation with the selection cadres credibility. In addition to the programof cognitive and other civil supervision awareness dimension was negatively correlated,other credibility dimensions and citizen awareness dimension had significant positivecorrelation. Stepwise regression analysis also found that firm and clear consciousness ofcitizen supervision of cadres to the selection of credibility has good predictability.
