Since1990s, a new literary and cultural criticism emerged, i.e. ecocriticism, its claimsare in conformity with that of Jeffers· inhumanismμ. This new trend promotes the studyon Jeffers· inhumanismμ. On the basis of Eugene·Nida·s functional equivalence theory,This paper makes a study on the translation strategies of the Inhumanist Poetics ofRobinson Jeffers. It mainly focuses on the translation of words, complex sentences and thepoetry included. What·s more, it makes a brief introduction of Robinson Jeffers and thecreating background of his works as well. This paper aims at promoting and deepening thestudy on Jeffers and his inhumanistμ poetics. |
