There is an inextricable connection between language and music. Theappropriate way of recognizing this connection and using it into teaching of Chineseis the key point of this thesis.First of all, this paper investigated the relationships between language and musicin acoustics and semiotics. Based on this, the author did some research on how tocombine these two subjects, and also tried to explain some knowledge of Chinesefrom the perspective of music.Through all of the assumption, denying and selection, the author finallyconceived a teaching method, which is based on five degrees notation and usingmusic as an auxiliary measure. The purpose of using this method is to make a changefor the current situation of teaching, so that the students would be more positive, andtheir spoken would be more accurate. Then it was tested in a real course of spokenChinese in HCU, the final result showed that it is very effective to the students.
