| Liu Xizai is a famous literary and art theorist in the late Qing Dynasty, who had avery important position in the history of the Chinese literary theory. He had enjoyedthe high reputation of Hegel of the East, Chinese classical aesthetics rearguard and theterminator of Chinese classical aesthetics. Much Liu Xizai’s literary and art thoughts,such as literary and art creation, literary and art criticism and the history of thedevelopment of literary and art, have great vitality and modern significance and havebeen having an integral role to guiding the contemporary literary theory and carryingforward the traditional culture.This thesis research object is the spread and influence of Liu Xizai’s literary andart thoughts. It will study Liu Xizai’s literary and art thoughts comprehensively andsystematically in accordance with the time clue. This thesis intends to achieve threepurposes: firstly, it will analyze the spread process of Liu Xizai’s literary and artthoughts.Secondly,it will outline the reception of Liu Xizai’s literary and artthoughts. Thirdly, it will try to find the rules which have been lying in the process ofthe spread and influence of Liu Xizai’s literary and art thoughts.This thesis consists of four main parts. The main ideas of each part are:Theintroduction part introduces the research status, the research value and meaning, theresearch ideas and methods,puts forward the research object and scope, and pointsout the research objectives and research innovation. The first chapter briefly willsummarize Liu Xizai’s literary and art thoughts. The second chapter will discuss thespread of Liu Xizai’s literary and art thoughts in modern. The third chapter willdiscuss the reception of Liu Xizai’s literary and art thoughts in modern. The fourthchapter will discuss how Wang Guowei to inheriting and developing Liu Xizai’sliterary and art thoughts. The conclusion part will summarize the importantconclusions of this thesis, briefly summarize research directions of Liu Xizai’s literaryand art thoughts in the future. |
