Culture Teaching In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

The relationship between culture and language is interdependent, so the culture teaching is an important part of teaching of Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL).The culture teaching not only can help the foreign students learn Chinese better but also raising their interests of learning Chinese.Then they will communicate more fluently in intercultural communication. Though this way, they can learn Chinese, know Chinese culture and communicate in intercultural communication.Since China’s reform and opening up, China’s economic boom and the comprehensive national strength has increased. More and more foreigners generate great interests to Chinese character and Chinese culture. They eager to master the Chinese to communicate,moreover they desire to learn Chinese history and Chinese culture.The developing of teaching of Chinese as a foreign language not only can satisfy the needs of foreigners,but can promote Chinese internationalization at the same time it will carry forward the Chinese culture.This paper is based on the previous studies, applying the methods of Analysis&Conclusion、Conclusion&Contrast and Literature searching.Though the analyze of culture、culture and language, culture teaching and TCFL、intercultural communication and other key elements, the author explores the culture、language, culture teaching and TCFL. Then it summarizes the essence、purpose、meaning、scope of the TCFL. At last,the paper explores the principle、content、method and function in culture teaching.
