A Report On Consecutive Interpreting For Small Business Talks Of IBM CSC Yinchuan Program Under The Guidance Of Gile’s "Comprehension Equation"

As a report on consecutive interpreting (CI), this dissertation describes one CI task conducted by the author for small business talks of IBM CSC Yinchuan Program, reviews the interpretation under the guidance of Daniel Gile’s "Comprehension Equation" and analyzes the problems encountered during the CI as well as possible coping strategies.Composed of four parts, this report firstly presents an overview, then introduces the consecutive interpreting task and process, next gives a brief introduction to Gile’s "Comprehension Equation" and analyzes the cases of interpreting for small business talks of IBM CSC Yinchuan Program as well as related strategies, finally makes a conclusion and puts forward the enlightenment for future’s interpreting work.
