With the deepening of reform and opening up, China’s level of economic development has been significantly improved, and into, the residents’ per capita income increases, and the leap of purchasing power, so that the rapid expansion of modern social and cultural consumption, the consumption level of the people for material and cultural products also changed a lot nowadays people consume in the process of increasing demand for cultural products, cultural consumption as the main form, had a huge role in it of cultural construction. However, people constantly improve the level of cultural consumption, especially in the context of the reform and opening, the products of erosion and vulgar culture of the West "unhealthy culture" in our country continue to spread the negative of these issues on the cultural construction of impact can not be ignored, based on this, for the investigation of cultural consumption status quo, both from an academic point of view, or practical significance from the social point of view, has a very important significance.The article is based on the new century vision of cultural consumption, the study discusses the definition of the concept of cultural consumption, cultural consumption entails the premise of material life conditions are met, and cultural products purchased through material means and thus meetspiritual culture needs. Discusses the process, the use of a means of philosophy, adhere to integrate theory with practice discussed principles for the new century, Chinese Cultural Consumption of ideological characteristics, problems and reasons depth analysis, and finally targeted a new era to build a sound ecific countermeasures and suggestions of our system of cultural consumption, to do something beneficial for China’s cultural development, cultural prosperity and development of practice and exploration.
