The purpose of the research focuses on the cultural identity of the Russian nation with the investigation on the spot in Enhe County of Argun Region in Hulun Buir City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of P. R. China by the form of music during the historical process and discusses on how the ethnic group by the transformation of the types of music to inherit their national music and cultural tradition during the different historical periods. In addition, to explain the meaning of these existing circumstances that to find the interactive relationship among the history of the ethnic group, social atmosphere and cultural continuity with the forms of music.By the diachronic and synchronic depictions to describe the dual function of music in the cultural identity which has a constructing boundary and instinct boundary. On the one hand, when the political atmosphere is tight and national culture faces the surviving difficulty, it adopts a type of more like the combination of Chinese national repertoire and style with Russian national and traditional music in the performance of ceremony music; on the other hand, when the political atmosphere is loose, it usually appears that deliberately distinguish the repertoire and style of the Russian and Chinese music in the performance of ceremony music in order to establish their own identification system of the Russian national culture for the ethnic group themselves.
