Marc Chagall is one of the most influential artists in20th century.His unique worksremain to be of great research value.This article will start from relating his lifeexperience,and combining with the Jewish belief in “loveâ€,explore the backgrounds andfeathers of Chagall’s art,so as to analyse how the “poetic†style has taken on his works.This article divides into four parts.The first part has concerned Chagall’s life experience.It then attempts to explain therole which the Jewish belief “love†has played in Chagall’s art making,as well as to explainthe poeticness,formed by the era and anti-semitism at the time,of his art.The second part will combine the main themes of Chagall’s art creation,and willcontinue to explain the presented “love†in his art in terms of his nostalgia,love affairs andreligious belief.The third part will analyse how and with what technique Poeticness had beentransformed into Chagall’s paper work.Finally,the forth part will explain the difference between Chagall’s art and othersimilar art,and summarize the enlightment indicated by his great creativeness. |
