For many English learners, reading is the basic and the most important skill to master."Higher Vocational College English Curriculum Standards" demands clearly that higher vocational college English classes should teach the basic reading skills to the students and emphasize on the development of the students’ reading strategies. It aims at the students’ interests and cognitive level, advocates the learning methods of experience practice, cooperation, communication, make the progress of learning language the one that develops the students’active thought and the ability of studying independently.This article through the questionnaire survey to obtain first-hand data, and then through the SPSS statistical analysis, statistical analysis results show that the learning strategies, cognitive strategies, metacognitive strategies, affective strategies and communicative strategies) has strong correlation with students’ English achievements, their regression coefficient is very high.This shows that the correct reading teaching strategies to improve the English learning has a positive role in promoting. This paper studies that factors such as language knowledge, background knowledge is the main factor affecting the reading efficiency of college students. Therefore, to efficiently complete the implementation of the reading teaching strategy in the classroom, you must accurately grasp the meaning of fluent reading, and other aspects.Reading teaching strategy of higher vocational colleges teaching has a lot of enlightenment to improve the efficiency of reading teaching strategy is of great significance. Thesis finally reflect on the lack of this research, including sample size, representative, statistics to reflect on the category of variable, thus provides a basis for future research.
