An Analysis Of ’writing Daily Life’ In Yu Jian’s Poetry And His Poetics

In1980s, the3rd generation of poetry rose, bringing a new trend of aesthetic appreciation to China poetry. As one of representative, YuJian brought up the ideas of ’reject metaphor’’writing daily life’’create colloquially’ and carried them on. Under the guide of’writing daily life’, Yu stood in the values of the ordinary people and created a number of poems with normal people or celebrities matters, attempting to wash off the hide of ideology and the metaphysical pursue from misty poetry by the presentation of individual’s daily life. His poems mainly good at colloquial narration, zero-degree writing, relevant details, wins wide attention.Overtime, however, Yu Jian’s identity changed, the era and society developed, Yu’s writing about daily life changed too. Comparing the writings and theory in his early stage and his late stage, we found: in his recent writing, the ordinary people not the protagonists any more, his imagination of celebrities lost it’s pertinence because Yu had already become one of the celebrities,the rival of the daily life become the industrial civilization and urbanization instead of the hide of ideology and the metaphysical pursue. Corresponding with the content changing is the form of the poem transforming:some pieces of ancient poetry be inlaid in his colloquially witing, when it comes to describing a thing, too much imagination replaced the objective description......In the mean time, YuJian’s theory about writing daily life has been amended and modified. In1980s, writing daily life was a concept with target, but as a result of the development of the society, the old target, the shield from ideology and the metaphysical pursue has faded, Yu needs another way to help this concept make sense.at that time, the destruction of industrial civilization and urbanization of daily life seems a nice new target. in order to point out the seriousness of the destruction, he discarded the objective authenticity which he valued a lot in his early writing, and covered the daily life with a layer of holy, even, he tried to use this holy layer to gild his early writings.But, this choice ignored the law of development of daily life, although the industrial civilization and urbanization looks aggressive, it improves our daily life indeed, and it also been a part of our life now. Because of the stillness understanding of daily life, Yu turned to the conservatives. Missing of the past time made him far away from his daily life, his ideal writing daily life finally sank into a contradictory situation.
