| Painting belongs to one of expressive art therapy treatment, but the real applied to deaf children are very few, it is almost blank in China.In the process of previous children consulting,the painting only was used as auxiliary tool for healthy children psychological treatment,but which is first time group therapy for the deaf-mute children.This study of subjects group is the deaf-mute of children in Shanghai welfare homes,they are a total of seven children, including one five years old boy of own parents, other six are orphans, two of them girls, they are between ages of five and nine years old. The participants were divided into three categories, at first,the parents of child attends to train of languageof deaf-mute children at the same time;second, participating in training of language of the orphans;at last,in painting treatment in the former, then start to participate in the training of language of the orphan.The study had intervened for the deaf-mute of children which emotion management and interpersonal communication in the medium of painting through group therapy of way. Through research to verify whether painting treatment is suitable for the deaf children’s emotion management, group therapy is suitable for deaf children, whether the intervention is effective.By painting treatment of process to further understand and know this special group of the inner world and their emotional expression, through interpretation of their paintings, combined with the painting in the process of nonverbal information, to improve and raise the level of deaf children’s emotion management. The painting process is actually a process of emotional catharsis, released of some pent-up emotions and subconscious by painting creation security expressed.The group intervention for a month, including two times a week, every time one hour, a total of eight times the painting treatment.Which was found through comparison and analysis of the data before and after,parents of deaf child attends to train of language of deaf children at the same, his emotional expression is diverse, he scored high numerical of problem solving and comfort himself than orphan students;however those participate in the training of the orphans scored numerical almost no change before and after of test,maybe they have a fixed of behavior mode, their alternative activitiesare belong to high marks,maybe their emotion are depressed;but those took part in the training of deaf children just now, their comfort themselves of numerical with almost the same parents of deaf children, their emotional expression is natural,their socialization degree is not high. This study results show that the painting therapy is suitable for deaf children’s emotion management, in the form of group therapy are beneficial to the deaf children’s emotion management and interpersonal, its intervention is effective. |
