Geographical And Social Research On The Dialect In Yuankou Town,Jiangyong County Of Hunan Province

The paper focuses on the research about the dialect in Yuankou Town, Jiangyong City of Hunan Province. It uses field survey method to make a complete investigation about the phonetic features of4administrative villages,2natural villages,1voice; And on this basis, from the perspective of geographical linguistics, the dialect on7points:pronunciation, vocabulary compared the similarities and differences.In the same time, investigate the popularity of the using dialect by way of questionnaire survey.The article is divided into six parts, the introduction part introduces the Yuankou dialect pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, the condition of system research. Against the Yuankou dialect research the status of the blank, we selected the village of the township government is located on the in-depth study of voice, the sorting out of the voice system, homophones unit form and some simple vocabulary and discourse.Geographical linguistics, through the form, the map and words description, from the tone of the merger of Zhuo-shang(浊上)is divided into Shangcun tract、 Congshuwan.The evolution law of two pieces of initials and finals, just some evolution mode and different speeds. Such as Yang voice terminal weakening trend on the whole, Congshuwan on Yang voice terminal loss is greater than Shangcun. Overall, the two have special phonological:Bang-mu (帮母)read [m], Duan-mu(端母)、Ding-mu(定母)read [1/n],[1].In the aspect of vocabulary, the differences are small and mainly reflected in the formation and pronunciation Only "ants","spider" two words made it clear that the difference of the two pieces, other words are more performance hybrid.In the aspect of sociolinguistics, the questionnaire survey and the use situation of yao’s contrast, showed the source function of dialect has waned, outlook is worrying, but it is not endangered, is expected to use for a long time.Due to the development of the language at the same time, the change of language users’ language environment, history, immigration, the fusion of factors result in dialect took a new source of variation.
