In Chinese, the negative adverb is an important form of express negative meaning. Also,"BU" and "MEI" is the most fundamental and most commonly used two negative adverb inmodern Chinese."BU" usually put in front of verbs, adjectives, adverbs or individual, means"no"."MEI" often negative action or condition which has occurred. Negative adverb has alwaysbeen the emphasis and difficulty point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Thedifferences between "BU" and "MEI" also make a lot of foreign Chinese learners feel confused,this needs us to research and analysis related errors and give out the explanation, put forwardthe corresponding teaching countermeasures. During the teaching practice in Thailand,theauthor experience a special kind of teaching mode, EP (English Program).Thailand EPstudents in addition to the Thai classes, all other courses adopt English as the language ofinstruction, which makes the EP student’s English level is significantly higher than other Thaistudents.This leads to Chinese as a second language which be learned under the Thai Englishbilingual language environment.In such a special condition, how to conduct effective Chineselanguage teaching, in the face of a variety of teaching situation how to deal with, it is veryworthy to study.This article attempts to analysis a survey for "BU" and "MEI" on the misusephenomenon of the Thai Chinese English bilingual environment, and study the influence ofChinese teaching from the research.And analysis the advantages and disadvantages of Chineseteaching under this environment, conclusion the experience of certain rules and put forward thecorresponding teaching strategies.This paper includes six parts:The first chapter is introduction.This part mainly summarize the existing literature datarelated to this topic research and theoretical perspectives, and thus puts forward the researchpurpose and significance of this article.The second chapter is Discrimination"BU"/"MEI" and its comparison with Thai and English.In this section firstly analysis the similarities and differences between Chinese "BU"and "MEI", then respectively introduces the Thai and English to express negative meaning. Atthe end, we summarizes Chinese and English, Thai’s similarities and differences though thesimple comparison, and pointed out the reasons of the errors which come from thelearners,then we put forward the corresponding teaching strategies.Chapter3, chapter4and chapter5respectively to the learns in Thailand Sa-guan Yingschool of Chinese early, middle and senior level about "BU" and "MEI" the misuse ofinvestigation and analysis, find out the causes of errors and accord with the actual situation oflearners teaching strategy is put forward.Chapter6is conclusion.This part summarizes the main points of this article and innovation,also put forward the research deficiency and the problems need to continue to study.
