Fu, as a kind of literary genre, is one of the necessary parts of Jin Ping Mei. In the fictionof Jin Ping Mei, there are91such kind of works, which can be classified into five differentcategories. They are Pian Fu, Wen Fu, Sao Fu, Shi Fu, and Su Fu. These works describedifferent characters, architectures, occasions, documents, scenery, matters, and express theemotion and render the atmosphere for us, which are rich and vivid. Some of the works arecreated by the writer, and others are copied from former literature works, such as All Men AreBrothers, Kai Juan Yi Xiao, Bao Jian Ji, Xi Shan Yi Ku Gui, Zhang Yuhu Living in Nv ZhenGuan at Night, and Loyal Master Zhang. Jin Ping Mei had been revised more than once and itwas improved a lot. The methods include cutting, shrinking, modification, supplementing,repairing order, correcting mistakes, polishing and processing. The revised works are moreneat and orderly, its expression is more appropriate and vivid, and the content is morecompact, clean and simple.According to the theory of rhetoric, the works of Fu in Jin Ping Mei has distinctiveaesthetic features, which are richful species, flexible usage, and fixed choosing. According tothe material on the rhetoric, rhetoric, mood words and text analysis, the works of Fu reflectsprofound implication of the beauty of mellow. Flexible transformation makes Fu havebeautiful forms. The using of Lininng words, beating, doubling words and assonance wordscreate beautiful sound of Fu. The writer’s extensive knowledge, keen sensibility makes Fusatirical. The rhyming feature makes Fu has flowery words. And the short text makes Fuconcise.These works is not only an auxiliary for narrate the story, but also has deep and richsocial and cultural implication, and folklore value. It helps us to know more about the dailylife, the harmful imperial examination system, and the knowledge of our history and culture inMing Dynasty.
