So-called the essence of morality embodies the internal organic connection among various components of morality and a series of regularity and necessity which is hidden in the inner elements of morality.That is just the essential attribute of morality which can be differentiated from others.The genesis mechanism of morality is an systematic process which is devoted to research how does morality emerge and stand firm.Both are two basic problems of Ethics. The answer to the problem of the moral nature not only relates to the solution of some problems such as the function,structure and the evolution of morality,but also directly affects our recognition and understanding about the researching contents and tasks of Ethics system.On one hand,clarifying the problem of moral genesis mechanism can help us comprehending the general venation of how does morality come into being and develop;On the other hand,it also benefits us grasping the essence of morality more clearly and profoundly.In addition,making an inspection combined the essence and the genesis mechanism of morality also does good to our realization towards the necessity of morality and making an reasonable choice of value during such an increasingly diverse society.Based on the relevant research products between domestic Ethical circles and several famous western scholars,this thesis focus on carrying out the research and explanation towards the essence and the genesis mechanism of morality from the following three aspects:First,deeply dissecting the essence of morality for practical reason on account of the discussion about umpty problems of the moral essence;Second,starting the research in regard to the origin of morality and how does colonial morality occur in according with the path of thought for"Grasping the object from the origin is just seizing its critical points in essence";Third,taking an psychological demonstration on the emergence of morality from the viewpoint of individual morality.First of all,the discussion about the essence of morality has been lasting thirty years from the last century eighty’s till now in domestic ethical circus.In this period,scholars had put forward many constructive ideas and opinions but still exist some drawbacks such as paying too much attention to some respective attribute or feature of the moral essence.This thesis conducts an intensive analysis and conclusion from four angles which are the normative and the subjectivity of morality,the idealism and the feasibility of morality,the altruism and the selfishness of morality,the utilitarian the non-utilitarian of morality in order to understand the essence of morality through implementing the Marxism practice view into general train of thought.That is to say,we should treat the morality as an special way of grasping the world.This thesis abides by an thinking method for the unity of logic and history to illustrate how does the morality grasp the world in a special way as practical reason by means of systematically teasing the eminent historical celebrity’s dissertation on practical reason such as Aristotle,Kant and Carl-Marx combined with the deepgoing analysis upon the connotation and the characteristic of practical reason.Referring to the issue of moral genesis mechanism,this thesis expound and prove the colonial morality from the angle of biological,culturological and sociological foundation with the research on the general route of the morality’s genesis.At last,this thesis tries to offer an psychological proof towards individual morality in way of three famous ethical psychologists(Jean Piaget,Lawrence Kohlberg and Nancy Eisenberg)’s research products and the enlightenment what it offers on the emerge and development of morality.Accordingly we can grasp the problem of the genesis of morality as a whole.
