| The narrative of double capitals in notes appeared aboundantly as early as Han and the Northern and Southern dynasties, and reached its prosperity during Song dynasties. During Ming and Qing dynasties, the narrative of double capitals in notes presented a splendid prosperity with the large amount of works and comprehensive contents which are beyond the achievement during other previous dynasties, and become a spectacular phenomenon in the notes during Ming and Qing dynasties. Comprehensively speaking, the narrative of double capitals in the notes during Ming and Qing dynasties had presented many new changes based on the inheritance from predecessors. The most prominent features are the characteristic narrative content, various narrative techniques, mass aesthetic images and profound cultural connotation.According to the above mentioned features, the present study takes the narrative of double capitals as the research object to analyze similarities and differences of the narrative content, study the characteristics of the narrative mode, explain the aesthetic significance of typical images and explore the profound cultural connotation and its value. The present study includes introduction, main body and ending.In the Introductive chapter, the development process of notes is firstly introduced, based on which a general view on the development of the narrative of double capitals is set up, the characteristics of its development is generalized, and the development condition of the narrative of double capitals during Ming and Qing dynasties is outlined. The precess is a logic starting point and theoretical foundation of the present study. Then, the research situation of the present study is simply combed and analyzed. Finally research methods are illustrated, including mutual reflection of literature and history, literary studies, urban geography studies and cross-over studies.Chapter1of the main body, which is titled as the comparation and contrast on the main content of the narrative of double capitals in Ming and Qing dynasties’ notes, is composed of three parts. The first part analyzes the description of natural landscape from the aspect of differences and similarities in the narrative content. The second part analyzes the description of mundane life from the aspect of the amount of its narrative content. And the third part analyzes the narrative of anecdotes from the aspect of normality and change in narrative content.Chapter2, features of the double capitals narrative in Ming and Qing dynasties’, explores the narrative features from three aspects. The first aspect studies the involvement of poems and textual criticism from the feature of the narrative content. The second aspect studies the knot of public narrative and personal narrative from the feature of the narrative subject. The third aspect explores the narrative space transformation from the feature of narrative process.Chapter3is the typical images in the double capitals narrative in Ming and Qing dynasties’notes. Firstly, image groups and their features are discussed. And then typical images in Nanjing, which are the Zhongshan Mountain image and the brothel image, are analyzed praised respectfully from the aspect of scenery. Finally, typical images in Beijing, which are the image of the liulichang market and Beijing nonentities’image, are analyzed from the citizen image and mundane life.Chapter4, cultural implication in the double capitals narrative in Ming and Qing dynasties’ notes, firstly makes a historical review on the double capitals narrative within the scope of the notes, and probes into the constructive value and significance that the narrative of two cities had exerted on the "the narrative of the double capitals" in Ming and Qing dynasties. Then, Then diversification of the imperial capital complex, which was mainly a mix of love and regret, is explored. Finally, individualized expression and transition of former dynasty adherents’ feelings are analyzed from the aspect of the relasionship between Nanjing culture and Ming dynasty adherents’ feelings and the aspect of the relasionship between Beijing culture and Qing dynasty adherents’ feelings.Based on the above study, the last chapter simply disucusses the influence that the double capitals narrative in Ming andQing dynasties’ notes exerted on the construction of urban culture and makes an overview of its influence to the literature of the later ages. |
