Chinese oil painting occupies a very important position in contemporary art, althoughthe Chinese oil painting history is far less than the west, but because of oil painting inChina has experienced the Chinese culture type washing and after the inheritance andinnovation of artists formed the characteristic oil painting appearance, actually attractingthe attention of the world. It is through this kind of Chinese style oil painting appearance tointerpretation of Chinese culture, to understand the Chinese style oil painting language.The contemporary works of art of Chinese painting styles. The concept of realism,performance, and other art forms are too many to count, especially this kind of having inChina’s unique native language circumstances, many artists and also through the children’simage to explore oil painting language, to explore for the art essence of contemporarydiversified forms of mining. This paper from the symbolic significance of the interpretationof images of children, children’s image in painting works from the oil painting works. Inthe style and content of different paintings, images of children will take different aestheticeffect. For the children’s image beautification, sympathy, or alienation and so on, all reflectthe artist for the social life and experience different feeling. Children as a rich content ofthe image, different people will have different interpretations, so children’s image hasbecome a point of view in-depth observation of Chinese contemporary oil painting, whichinspires us to find a new creative mode of thinking, practice to guide oil painting.
