| As a page in the history of modern Chinese literary criticism, Shen Congwen’s literary criticism can not be ignored. Accompnied with the creation of its lucrative novels, essays and other parts, they complemented each other, and reflected the consistent literary ideas. Although Shen Congwen’s literary criticism did not give enough attention in academic fields for various rensons. Article monograph criticism basically focused on ideological connotations embodied in literary criticism that is not from the macro. And they do not make a comprehensive and objective analysis and evaluation.This airticle, regards the literary criticism of Shen as contemplation objection, abstractive lyrical as the core, combined with Western modern theory, using the textual interpretation and comprehensive analysis methods, tries to make a full range of observation for Shen Congwen’s criticism text from his motivation, conception and criticism style. On the basis of the consolidated studies before, this essay, taking modern ecological criticism as an aim, give an analysis for Shen’s literary criticism which embodied his moderate appropriatioin, independent creation and eco-natural criticism of conception. And by this, we summarize two kinds of the characteristics criticism, including "impression of enlightenment" and "abstractive lyrical". By combining creation and criticism together, we will find the unique artistic style which not only make the theory and practice of "cross-training" come true but also make modernity and anti-modernity unity as an opposition, besides aesthetic intersubjectivity character.Abstracive lyrical is not only Shen’s style of criticism writing, but also reveals inherent law of literary criticism. And the more important is his pursuit for the natural ecological beauty and the spirit of sustenance for ideal life vision, which compose the keys of understanding Shen Congwen, his work and thoughts. Shen mastered Chinese and Western theoretical resources by heart, freshly rearranged them and consciously created a different kind of aesthetic criticism paradigm in the history of modern Chinese literary criticism. He also made an brave and valuable attemption on the aspects of publicity of human spirit, critical discourse and thinking ways and so on. His behavior not only opened up a new area in the field of Chinese literary ciriticism, also consciously made an necessary efforts as an intellectual for the new order of aesthetic criticism in the twentieth century in China. |
