Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological disorder based on social obstaclesymptoms, Speech disorders and abnormal interests and behavior。Children with autismhave deficiency in theory of mind; they cannot understand the psychological state of othersby looking at other people’s faces. Socialization of children is one of the main ways to imitate;Imitation is an important cognitive behavior of human beings. Persons with autism presentdeficits in the cognitive process of empathy, Such as the lack of fast and spontaneousimitation of emotional expression, which result in weakened social adaptability.In order to investigate the Characters of Facial expressions mimicking in Children withAutism, we recruited10autistic children aged4to8, and10gender-matched typicallydeveloping children from the same age range. First of all, Participants in both experimentsviewed computer images of sadness, joy, neutral facial expression. Comparing sadnessintensity values which caused by Pictures of neutral and sorrow, We can determine theinfection of sad emotions start time and duration. Comparing joy intensity values whichcaused by Pictures of neutral and joy, we can determine the infection of joy emotions starttime and duration. Next, in order to further study the characteristics of Facial expressionsmimicking of autistic children in real life, we adopt the ecological validity higher ofexpression videos as experiment material. Finally, we explore the effect of emotion intensityon autism to imitateTaken together, this research mainly got the following conclusions:(1)Watching mood pictures, autistic children and normal children were spontaneousimitation, Autism began to imitate time later than normal children, Normal children showemotion infected more than children with autism and last longer.(2)The pleasant emotions of the autistic children to watch video, mood changes caused bythere were no significant difference with normal children. After the sad video, autisticchildren sad mood immediately reduced, and normal children’s sadness but showedincreasing trend(3)When sorrow strength changes, autistic children and normal children imitate behavior has not changed. Pleasant mood intensity bigger, normal children more vulnerable toinfection, Children with autism group, the difference was not significant...
